4" X 6" Thermal Transfer Labels, White, Opaque Adhesive, 3" Core

Thermal Transfer Labels: A thermal ribbon is required to print on these labels. When heat has been applied to the ribbon from the printhead, the ink is transferred onto the label. Thermal Transfer Labels are ideal for applications that need more temperature resistance and a longer shelf life than Direct Thermal products.

These Thermal Transfer Labels have a smooth paper facestock with an opaque (black) adhesive. Recommended for applications where the label is being used to cover existing labels or markings.

Recommended Ribbons

A wax ribbon is recommended for general purpose printing. For more durability and smudge resistance, a wax/resin ribbon may also be used. According to printer manufacturer specifications, the ribbon should always be slightly wider than the media on which you are printing.
